Man Dies After Boating Accident at Lake Bridgeport

Joe Beebe, 56, a Bell Helicopter employee from Arlington, died after a boating accident on Lake Bridgeport Sunday afternoon. Rescue crews faced high winds and rough water after an overturned boat. Beebe and two companions clung to the hull until rescue, but Beebe collapsed in the water and could not be revived at Bridgeport Hospital. The other two men were treated for shock and exposure and released.
