Minor Two Car Collision Injures Judy Lynn Stokes
Judy Lynn Stokes 16 of 807 17th Street suffered a broken nose and a facial cut when her 1957 Chevrolet rear collided with Mrs. Jesker McCain’s 1955 Chevrolet on Cates Street near 15th Street at 5 15 p m. Damage totaled about 800 dollars. Stokes was treated at Bridgeport Hospital and released. McCain also treated and released.

Bridgeport Elementary to Host March Grade School Tournament
The Bridgeport Elementary Basketball Tournament will be held Friday and Saturday March 13 and 14. Teams include Rhome Newark Justin Nocona and Bridgeport. Four Friday games start 7:00 p.m. in the High School Gym. Saturday schedule begins 8:00 a.m. with consolation games at 7:00 and finals at 8:00. Admission 25 cents for adults 15 cents for students.

The Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce and County Tax Office arrange to sell 1964 automobile license plates in Bridgeport during March 16 to 21. Tax Collector M. D. Ball will be in the Old Lions Club Building from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday. April 1 is the deadline for new tags and residents are urged to purchase during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Mayon Dethloff and Sherry of Bowie visited local residents on Sunday.
