Voter turnout was light in Bridgeport with 55 ballots cast in the runoff at Precinct 14 and 19 at Precinct 13 plus 10 absentee votes. Total Bridgeport votes reached 65 with four names on the ballot. Election results show Newton over Sadler for Railroad Commissioner 49 to 6 in Bridgeport, Phillips over Dally 31 to 21, and Wise County precincts report Harris 852 to Lipsey 726 for Commissioner, Newton 1086 to 701 for Railroad Commissioner, and Daily 853 to Phillips 797 for Judge, Court of Criminal Appeals.
