Fred Green Killed In Crash Near Post
Fred Grant Green, 72, died July 20 in a West Texas hospital from injuries after a car crash near Post Texas on July 13. A Bridgeport barber and later an insurance agent, he was a longtime city official and a church and Masonic member. Services were July 24 at First Baptist Church with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery. He is survived by his wife Addie, a daughter Frieda Van Landingham and two sons Clinton and Cletus.
