Two Cars Collide on Thompson Street
On Sunday July 21 two cars collided on Thompson Street causing minor injuries to Irene Casillas who was hospitalized overnight but released. Serafin Casillas and Jimmy Taylor drove damaged Chevrolets and Pontiacs. Taylor’s car hit a light post. Passengers Roger McDaniel and Dwane Peterson were uninjured. Police cite unsafe speed as the cause.

Archie D. Wood 32 and W. L. Pierce 35 were charged with murder in the drowning of 27 year old Madge Skinner Sunday at Lake Bridgeport. Bond set at $10,000 each. both jailed in Wise County.
