Four Bridgeport sisters battle diverse cancers unite in fight
A Bridgeport family of four cancer survivors bonds as they endure different forms of cancer. Tina Love, 42, and sister Cindy Lawson, 39, raise funds for others by walking 60 miles in the Breast Cancer 3 Day event October 27 to 29 in the Dallas Fort Worth area. Lawson seeks 2200 dollars with a 3500 dollar goal. Their mother Clydene Martin, 63, beat breast cancer and fights ovarian cancer with chemotherapy begun in 2000. Edie McDonald, 45, also fought breast cancer, finished treatment and has been cancer free five years.
