More Volunteers Sought for Bridgeport Citizen Patrol
Bridgeport Chamber of Commerce representative Howard Meyers reports 35 attendees at a citizen patrol meeting. To cover a monthly night shift schedule from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. or 2 a.m. to 6 a.m., 129 volunteers are needed. about 70 are currently involved. The patrol, started before Christmas, aids local police at night with radio equipped cars in contact with authorities.
