Bridgeport Reports Sixth Hepatitis Case In Weeks

Bridgeport confirms six hepatitis cases in recent weeks including Billy Hood a about 20 hospitalized with the disease. Four kindergarten students and bus driver Mrs Gertrude Price are among the diagnosed. Health inspectors probed possible links but found no connection and no source yet identified.

City Council Eyes Solar Plant After Feasibility Review

Bridgeport officials continue a solar power feasibility investigation after a meeting with Solar King Inc. executives. The council heard about a 2,000 horsepower engine, a 1.5 megawatt generator, and projected savings of about 5.9 million dollars over ten years with an eight to ten year payback, all within an eight acre site plan and an 18 month build window.

Santa to Light City Park Rocket with Christmas Cheer
