Water System Improvements Present Financial Problems
City Council discusses funding for water system upgrades to meet Texas Water Quality Board and Texas Department of Health Resources requirements. Estimated total of 171 400 dollars for improvements. 56 150 dollars plus 10 000 to 12 000 engineering costs for stopgap measures. Potential issues include a 300 000 dollar future line from Lake Bridgeport and a 36 hour water outage risk if the current pump fails.
