Wise County Toy Run brings bikes and donations for needy children
The Wise County Toy Run Sunday features motorcyclists riding from Decatur to Bridgeport to collect new toys or $10 donations for children aged 3 to 12. Organizer Phillip Pierce notes past turnout above 600 bikes, with 700 possible if weather cooperates. Registration runs 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Decatur High School, bikes head to Harwood Park by 12:30, Biker Santa arrives at 2 p.m. for photo ops and gifts at Bridgeport Care Center and Abundant Life Children's Home.
