Plane Makes Forced Landing South Of Town
A plane carrying passengers from Colorado executed an emergency landing at about 12 25 p m Tuesday August 25 six miles south of town on FM road 920. The twin engine Beach plane suffered two broken pistons in the starboard engine. Passengers included H Grant West Harlan Bryant Herbert Dorricott Rocky Warren and Mr and Mrs Fred Glass. They were returning from a business trip to Fort Worth.
