Providence Rhode Island September 29 Mrs Elizabeth F Mohr was indicted as an accessory before the fact in the killing of her husband Dr C Frank lin Mohr on August 1. Three Negroes Cecil Victor Brown Henry Spellman and George W Healis were indicted for murder. Another indictment charged the Negroes with assault with intent to kill Miss Emily F Burger and Mrs Mohr as an accessory before the fact. Each defendant pleaded not guilty.

Canaan cashier gets five year term in prison
New Haven September 28 George Roger formerly cashier of the Canaan National Bank was sentenced to five years in an Atlanta prison after pleading guilty to embezzlement amounting to about 5500. He had a wife and six children and the crime involved driblets to pay living expenses. The five year sentence is the legal minimum. Also jailed or fined in related cases were Wilbur H. Webb ten days additional confinement for threats of exposure for 100, Joseph W. Ryan six months, Wong Gong two years plus $100 fine, Donk Kee fined 50, Charles Kee four months, and civil settlement talks noted in the Arena Center case involving four Canadian hockey players stranded here.
