Rudolph A Lohr aged 23 son of Mr and Mrs Rudolph Lohr of 39 Adams Street Rowayton Conn was drowned when a rowboat overturned while he and Russell Hall were en route to a yacht. Lifesaving efforts failed with he dying about 1 30 pm. He had been a popular Rowayton plumber and contractor in business about a year.
