Lads Riding to School in Truck Hit by Trolley
A group of boys on a truck en route to Black Rock school escaped serious harm after a Fairfield bound car bumped the truck at Ellsworth Street and Fairfield Avenue. Chicago Sept 12 Eight suspected men are under arrest in connection with the robbery yesterday of Warrington McEvoy a 19 year old messenger for the Garfield Park Savings bank. Detectives searched at night for four thieves who escaped in an automobile after the hold up. The safe containing 4800 in currency and checks was taken and later recovered.
