Schenectady November 25 Several thousand GE employees walked out during a conference with General Manager Emmons and union officials over the dismissal of two union leaders. Hartmann Brewing Co. sues Fritz G. Hartmann for 3600 on a note. Hartmann admits the saloon on Fairfield Avenue was bought for him but says he returned it after a year. Judge Bennett verdicts for the Brewing company after a short trial and bench ruling.
Abraham, Silverthau and others sued Fitz Hartmann for a diamond ring sale disputed August 12 1911. Judge Ott ruled Hartmann won with costs. Fritz Bond posted and plaintiffs recovered judgment against Charles Hartmann for 390.39. Separate suit Alex Erickson vs Andrew Larson favored Erickson. Larson claimed a mechanics lien but Erickson said no money was due.
Visiting nurses report a severe neglect case at 28 Frank Street where two women were found in extremely poor health with tuberculosis amid squalid surroundings. The nurse, used to poverty, required two colleagues after hours of work to stabilize one patient, highlighting recurring funding gaps hindering adequate care.
Mary McShane died at 84 at her daughter Mrs Eugene W. Carton s home 173 Beechwood Avenue after long infirmities. New York November 25 Harry White a Chinese national said to lead a long operating band of smugglers on the Canadian border was arrested today. He posted 500 bail to appear before the federal court at Syracuse to answer a charge of bringing his countrymen into the United States in violation of exclusion laws.
New Haven November 25. After an executive meeting the striking line men installing the railroad signal system between New Haven and Springfield report the situation practically unchanged. Negotiations for a settlement have so far failed. The railroad offered no statement regarding the strike.
Patrick J Morrissey was laid to rest in a large funeral at his home on Sanford Avenue and at St Augustine's church with high mass of requiem. Rev Frank Anderson Rev J J Kennedy and Rev E V Murphy officiated with many city officials and local lodge members attending. Floral tributes marked the service and Rev Father Kennedy urged consolation for the bereaved family recognizing the deceased charitable acts and faith.
Vaudeville actress Maida Du Pree registered as Betty Dailey in New York took poison after leaving a note for actor George Le Maire. She died in a hospital. police suspect she was daughter of a New York physician. Her effects included about $2,000 in jewelry and pawn tickets for $1,370.
The Red Cross holiday seals sale aims to raise 2500 for tubercular patient care through visiting nurses. Headquarters are at the police and charities building with invites to women and girls to assist in selling seals. In past drive, 3700 was raised and 90 percent used locally. Many TB sufferers avoid state facilities and need help.
Steve Martin, jailed for vagrancy, fell ill in a police cell and died at St. Vincent's hospital. Bright's disease linked to months in barns is suspected. Dr. S. M. Garlick investigates. Police know little about him, he claimed no home and no fixed address, and he said he was 23.

Washington November 25 W W Finley president of the Southern Railway system died at his home this afternoon after being stricken with paralysis at breakfast. He sank rapidly after the attack.
Eighty inmates at the western penitentiary in Pittsburgh faced disappointment as early mails from Harrisburg failed to deliver parole papers. The Board of Pardons had favorably acted on the applications and sent papers to Governor Tener for signature under a new state law allowing parole after a set portion of sentences is served.
A Ford owned by Mrs. Lillian Warren of Stratfield district was recovered by Captain George H. Arnold after a weeklong search. Found hidden in Locust Woods about eight miles from Bridge Port, near ledges away from a road. Police theorize intoxicated joy riders or a cached theft led to its placement. damage uncertain.
Bridgeport hospital officials seek Charles William of New York who left the facility around 1 a.m. without discharge. He was not detained and had no money. He took his night shirt, trousers, shoes, under coat, and cap, and no word has been received since. He had undergone medical treatment for two weeks.
The fire department was called to 85 Randall avenue shortly before 1 o'clock this afternoon, where William Marcos, age 6, had set a bed on fire. The lad was playing with matches. Alarm from Box 86 sent four companies. Damage estimated at about $10.
A fire started in the furnace of James Merley at 261 East Main Street, triggering a still alarm for Chemical No. 1 just after 11 am. The house filled with smoke before firefighters arrived. no damage was reported.

Sheriff Elwood of Fairfield wrecked his automobile last night after colliding with a dump cart owned by Dickie Bros in the roadway near Burr Road. He says there was no warning light on the cart. The car was a total loss. Dickie Bros claims the cart was left in the road against orders. Elwood could sue if no settlement is reached.
Jacob Pepe of Mamaroneck New York sues Col Nathan H Heft for 10000 dollars for injuries from a September 29 1913 automobile collision. Pepe a miner filed suit through his father Alfonso Pepe claiming the boy was riding a bicycle and suffered a broken leg and bruises. Heft says he was careful and blames no one.
A pedestrian named Andrew Holiovinsky of 1524 Seaview Avenue was struck by a speeding Ford on Seaview and Stratford avenues between 5 and 6 last night. He lies in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital with multiple injuries including a punctured lung. Police seek the driver. car did not stop after the hit and license number could not be obtained due to darkness.
