Stamford May 71 A bullet from an 8mm calibre revolver accidentally discharged by her son Samuel 19 killed Mrs Jacob Kivelevits of 84 West Washington Avenue instantly at noon. The bullet pierced her heart and passed through the boy’s hand. The son fled the scene hysterical. Mrs Kivelevits was declared dead by Dr Crane and placed in an ambulance en route to a morgue. The husband arrived at the scene and was overwhelmed with grief while the boy was held by police at headquarters in remorse.

Son Planned To Kill Mother To Get Money
In Paterson New Jersey on May 7 Lester B. D. an 18 year old boy admitted planning daily for weeks to murder his mother to obtain money. He told detectives he would kill but lost heart when the time came. He stood charged with attempting to kill his mother and grandmother as they slept on the second floor of their home. Early morning he was awakened by a noise and a man fired at his mother. The attack left the women wounded and they were rushed to hospital. Lester claimed he walked in his sleep and found himself with a revolver in his hand. He initially confessed to the crime for the money left by his mother. The court heard he expressed no plan to harm his grandmother. The Brow n family thanks friends for support after their father’s death.
