Last Day For Those Who'd Be Citizens
Seventeen applications were received for second papers yesterday by Naturalization Clerk M J Flanagan the last day papers may be filed for citizenship in time to vote in the coming presidential election. Names must be posted 90 days in the superior court and applicants cannot vote unless citizenship papers are issued at least one month before the election. Yesterday there were nine applications for first papers.
