The Gold Trail Adventure at Hangman's Gulch

In Hangman’s Gulch, three travelers observe miners at work along a dry riverbed. They try digging for gold themselves, enduring hard labor with picks and shovels, learning pay dirt rewards vary and a helpful stranger shows them how to pan. They finally pan their first gold, a twelve cent tally, realizing costs of gear and provisions.
