Autoist Fined for Passing Trolley Under State Law
Hartford June 12 The first conviction in this city under the state law forbidding an automobile to pass a trolley car from which passengers are alighting or about to embark was secured in police court this morning. Richard Salling of Suffield was fined 25 dollars. Salling is alleged to have passed such a car in Hartford Sunday morning at about 15 miles an hour, narrowly risking injuries to several persons. He was arrested Tuesday.
