Johnstown Pa June 16 Members of Congress were sharply arraigned today by Representative Barthholdt of Missouri in a German Day speech for alleged yielding toward prohibition and other sumptuary laws. He urged liberals to join the fight to offset the puritan influence and warned of a future where personal liberties are endangered. He claimed Democrats and Republicans supported unconstitutional measures and warned Germans nationwide would oppose efforts to curb German individuality.
