Bridgeport Men Fined for Trespass in New Haven Court
In New Haven on railroad trespass charges Richard Moore and Andrew Jenty, both of Bridgeport, were fined $10 and $1 with costs respectively in police court today. They also went to jail in default of payment.

No Evidence of Murder in Tramp's Fight
Tramp John Williams reportedly beaten in a barn near the Wilson place in Black Rock Fairfield. Police, led by Superintendent Birmingham, searched the area from early morning to noon, finding no evidence of foul play or a body. Connolly, Williams’ companion, asserts Williams was killed. police remain unsure. Williams and Connolly were described as tramps from Stamford heading toward Bridgeport, attacked by two men with clubs and pistols. Connolly was injured but survived, Williams’s whereabouts remain unknown. The barn owner is Frank Timko. a Deputy and patrolmen investigated the scene but found no trace of a victim or body. Connolly received medical care. he provided his account before leaving police custody.

Ordinance for Safe and Sane Fourth Offered
After Mayor Buckingham’s annual message the council president offered a resolution setting a $50 penalty for placing explosives on Cann Co tracks or discharging a gun in city limits. It was referred to the Ordinance committee. The report recalls prior nuisance from fulminate torpedoes and sulphur on trolley tracks and notes rising injuries from blank cartridges.

Court Decides Two Damage Suits Today
Judge Scott of the court of Com mon Pleas awarded John Uhrlaub of Darien $60 damages and costs after Schirmer tore down a fence around Uhrlaub's land. In the second case, Stanley Leshinsky of Stamford received $104.93 in damages and costs from Robert Fosdick, the contractor claiming underpaid for work on Fosdick’s houses.

Krosky Nearly Burned In Shed After Midnight
George Krosky former inmate of the Connecticut Hospital for the Insane at Middletown nearly perished in a shed behind his mother's home at 43 Singer avenue after an unknown man lured him there for shelter. After the blaze was put out his sister-in-law Annie Gomperts had him arrested as a danger. He awaits mental examination by Dr. H W Fleck while in jail.
