Three Railroad Presidents Protest Government Injunction Suit
Three railroad presidents led by EB Ripley of Santa Fe arrived in Washington to protest the government's injunction against increases in freight rates in the Mississippi river territory. They aim to justify the tariff changes to President Taft and Attorney General Wickersham, arguing the increases affect only a small freight portion and that prior notices were shared with shippers.
