Flaming bar injures Patrick Winn at Bridgeport Forge
Patrick Winn, 35, of Bridgeport Forge Co, suffered a severe injury when a red hot iron bar about 3 feet long and 1.5 inches in diameter burned through his abdomen and out his back at work. Fellow workers freed him and he fought flames until ambulance crews arrived. he remains in critical but hopeful condition at St Vincent's hospital.
