Michigan football captain-elect declared ineligible
Arbor Michigan Dec 24 Public for Joy Miller captain-elect of the Michigan football eleven was found ineligible under university rules. Miller played against Marquette Syracuse Notre Dame Minnesota and Pennsylvania but was not a bona fide student. The board in control revoked the Michigan M, disowned his captaincy, apologized to the opposing colleges, and recommended discipline. Miller is not currently attending the university, making future re-entry unlikely.

Yale Alumni Weekly Questions Sideline Coaching Debate
New Haven December 24 Walter Camp Yale football guide discusses Ted Coy's eleven and questions if Coy could beat Lee McClung and Gordon Brown. Camp ridicules the idea of Yale being coached from the sidelines and asserts that Yale could have coached its own staff. He weighs the old question of Brown's eleven versus Brown's and McClung's teams in light of Coy's and Yale's coaching history.
