Judge Wheeler Denies Bid to Set Aside $5,000 Verdict

Judge George W. Wheeler denies the New Haven Company motion to set aside a $5,000 jury verdict in Morse v Eliott. He criticizes frequent non-suits and similar motions as unfounded, noting the Crossing at East Litchfield is exceptionally dangerous and requires greater care by the railroad.
