The Hatters Union No. 10 of Danbury and officers are ordered to appear in Superior Court on December 11 at 10 o clock to show cause why they should not be punished for contempt for violating a temporary injunction restraining interference with United States Hat Co. of Danbury. Youth Drowns After Ice Breaks During Pond Play
George Pratt aged 12 of 251 River Street is drowned at Berkshire pond when a thin ice stretch he and two friends used for running broke. Motorcycles Officer William Byrnes recovered the body half an hour later with a long-handled rake. Dr J F Keegan rendered aid at shore but failed. Pseudo British Aviator Given Jail Sentence
Patrick Delaney of London alias John D. Howard a pseudo British aviator and recruiting officer was jailed three months by Judge Gardiner Greene in Bridgeport Superior Court for passing a worthless $25 check at the Stratfield hotel last summer. He pleaded guilty after posing in a British aviation corps uniform and telling war tales while addressing meetings. He was caught after the check bounced and later apprehended in Milwaukee. records show complaints across Norfolk Virginia to Milwaukee for similar frauds.

Coroner Hears Accident Case In Westport
Coroner John J Phelan heard witnesses today about an accident in Westport on Saturday evening. Hazel Waterman of 905 Noble Avenue was thrown from a car and is in danger of death.
