House approves Madden amendment on railroad valuation

Firemen Rescue Woman From Tenement Smoke
New Haven April 29 Mrs Mary L Meyers over 70 narrowly escaped death by suffocation when firemen climbed to her third story perch at 74 Congress avenue and rescued her from smoke pouring from a basement blaze.
