Bereaved Son Sails to Meet Body of J P Morgan
New York April 11 The steamship France bearing the body of J P Morgan passed Nantucket Lightship at 4 am and was due to dock about 3 pm. The body will lie in state at Morgan Library until Monday morning then funeral services at St George's Church. The casket will be moved by special train to Hartford Conn for interment in the family mausoleum. Morgan and his son James Morgan had obtained permission to sail down the bay in a revenue cutter and board the France at quarantine.
