The Evangelical Lutheran College held commencement Tuesday evening with a large audience. Five diplomas were awarded: Elizabeth Hartmann, Freda Bartens, Henry Schmidt, Henry Hodde, and John Kamas. A wedding followed in Hempstead with Miss Mariam Petty and city attorney R. M. Campbell. the bride is niece of Dr. Young and Mr. Thomas Young. The couple traveled to Cameron via the Central at noon through Giddings.
