Mrs. Davis, near the Liberty County edge, found her spring fouled and was assaulted by a naked man who pursued her into a cornfield. She barely escaped and recovered enough to summon help. A search party captured the assailant Friday at Crosby station on the Texas and New Orleans railroad.
