New Laws of Texas for jurors and witnesses

Grand jurors receive one dollar fifty per day. Petit jurors get one dollar fifty per day. Judges tax five dollar jury fees in district and county criminal trials. Witnesses receive one dollar fifty plus sixty cents per mile, paid by the defendant upon conviction. the state pays no witness fees.
