Local reports center on Win. F. Bagot, once with the Jeffersonville Penitentiary and a shoe firm, who left home with a girl named George Twomey amid rumors of elopement. Bagot allegedly took $200 and forged an $800 note. his wife awaits news while a telegram confirms no word from him.
