Rankin County Fair attracted many exhibitors despite space limits. County schools delivered notable displays with many top prizes across farm products, corn, vegetables, canning, textiles, and livestock. Road bond election targets local road funds
Next Tuesday voters in this Supervisor's District will decide on a seventy thousand dollar road bond. If approved, the Federal Government adds sixty thousand. The State Legislature may authorize a twenty five million dollar road bond funded by automobile tax, with this district receiving about seventy five thousand.
