Demonstrating Terracing Plans For Orchard Work In County

Livingston Home Destroyed by Fire on September 12
Mr and Mrs Grover Livingston of Gautier on the Gulf coast lost their home to a September 12 fire. Mrs Livingston, a two day old infant and a nurse escaped as the husband was away. A former city resident, Mrs Livingston, nee Ferguson, is mourned by friends who extend sympathy.

Flying Squadrons Unite In Service At Johns Sunday
One of the year's largest gatherings occurred at Johns last Sunday as the Finkbine, Shiloh and Antioch Flying Squadrons joined for an all day Get-to-Gether service. Sam Hinton led the morning program with talks by members, while Try. I. W. Cooper of Whitworth College preached in the evening. Rev. A. A. Simms joined in prayer and the day included fine music. A large crowd filled the houses, and a bountiful repast was served by local ladies.
