County Board Adopts Confederate Monument Aid and Road Changes
The Rankin County Board met with all officers present. It approved a $2000 county fund contribution to a Brandon Confederate monument and rescinded a prior road change, restoring the Brandon and Cato road. It also authorized warrants for ditching, bridge work, and dumps, granted several township loans, and settled matters on school payments, private ways, and various road and lease decisions.
