W B Collier bought the Bruce home for 2000. Mrs Pira Bruce and Miss Carey will stay in Brandon and board. Myrtle Cox wed T H Brown of Yazoo City last Sunday. Newly arrived families from various regions increasing Rankin county population. Brandon area has seen about a dozen families purchase land and settle locally.
