Death of O L McGilvra near Brandon
O L McGilvra died at his Brandon home last Saturday morning after a brief illness. A native of Iowa, he moved to Brandon about several years ago. He was engaged in dairying and had built up a large demand for dairy products. Funeral services were held at the local church.

Reverend C F Emery Conducts Funeral at Methodist Church
The service Sunday at 11 oclock featured Rev. C F Emery conducting the last rites in a beautiful manner. Remains were laid to rest in Brandon cemetery. Mr McGilvra, 51, a devoted church member and Christian gentleman, leaves a wife and several children.
