Advertises Hulls and Meal for Cash in Hand

A farmer offers cotton seed hulls at 7.00 per ton and meal at 1.35 per sack. He invites customers to bring money when collecting hulls and expresses interest in future business.

Farmers' Union meet at Brandon district session

The Farmers Educational and Co operative Union of Rankin county met with Brandon Local Union 1651 on Friday and Saturday the 8th and 9th of this month. State Lecturer Henry W Bradshaw preached on education, crop diversification, meat and corn production, and home farming. Delegates from multiple unions were seated and committees reported on education, agriculture, and warehouse use. Dallas Watts was elected county president, with officers named for the next term. Concord will host the next meeting in April.
