A health feature extols starting each day with a glass of hot water and limestone phosphate to flush the stomach liver kidneys and bowels. It argues this cleansing renews energy and well being, relieving dullness headaches bad breath and acid stomach before breakfast.
An old fragment urges readers to buy a quart er pound of limestone phosphate from drug stores, claiming it cures constipation bile stomach trouble rheumatism and blood disorders, and will cost little while making one a pronounced crank on internal sanitation.

Atlanta residents read of national drive for the Victory Liberty Loan in early April. Officials expect a bond issue near six billion dollars with attractive terms to fund postwar demobilization and pay war debts. Governor McCord of the Federal Reserve urges renewed public support, stressing production and savings contributed to victory. Public duty continues as soldiers return from Europe and government bills are settled.
The State of Mississippi issues an attachment in the case of J A Spann Jr and C K Jones against C L Colhoun estate for 364.32. Pending in Rankin County Chancery Court in Brandon, Mississippi, the estate must appear by the fourth Monday of March 1919 to plead or judgment will be entered and the estate sold. Reports to the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta warn Liberty Bond owners are selling at discounts as speculators push for exchanges for other so called securities with higher interest. Treasury officials stress Liberty Bonds are worth their face value backed by U S resources, and selling them risks losing invested money and interest. Some holders blame the postwar lull, but deserting the bond is viewed as dishonorable to the war effort.
Sealed bids due by noon on the first Monday in March 1919 in the Chancery Clerk's office for mules of various weights and ages for Beat 1 4 a for bridge repair equipment and road work including a wagon and rock crushing outfit plus vat medicine for Rankin county. Highest bidder sale of several horses and mules for Beat 4. Board reserves right to reject all bids.
Notice records a trust deed dated April 27 1912 by Mrs Julia Wallace with W L Pierce as trustee to secure The Simpson Mercantile Company. Foreclosure sale set for March 10 1919 at the Brandon courthouse front door to satisfy the indebtedness on land in Rankin County Mississippi described as NE 1 4 and NE Y NW 4 of Section 83 Township 8 Range 1 east.
