Sam Wright, a Black resident on Kid Loveless place, was arrested last week for burglary and remains jailed awaiting trial. HW Washburn and J T Berry on a train spotted a suspicious man with a suitcase, which held stolen goods and keys matching Barnes storehouses. They apprehended him. trial expected next Saturday.

Termination of Holidays Brings Relief in P. D.
The close of the holidays brought relief to Postmaster Burns and his assistants in this city. They have been very diligent in the handling of the unusual amount of holiday mail. New clerks were added to take care of the holiday rush, and were exceedingly busy until a late hour Christmas night. Trains are beginning to get back on regular schedule, following a very heavy holiday traffic. For many days prior to Monday practically all trains were from one to several hours late.
