The August 5 1918 board meeting approved H H Bullock report on teachers funds July costs and salaries. They awarded feed and oats contracts to W G Barnes J L O Buchanan and Taylor Wills Grocery, plus a bridge contract to M Laird. An August 20 1918 bond election was set for Rankin County district 3 with For Issuance and Against the Issuance options. A $1000 loan from Rankin County Bank for road purposes was authorized with J J Daniel to sign.
