Rankin County Board Awards Multiple Construction and Wages
The August 1 1921 Rankin County Board of Supervisors awarded contracts for Beat 2 3 and 4 sweet feed and oats at set prices and awarded bridge construction at Gill Place and Martin Place. A detailed superintendent’s July report covers school fund payments and numerous road maintenance allowances. The board also approved tax adjustments and issued notes for road funds, accepted Federal Aid Project No. 5 bridges, and elected Agricultural High School trustees.
