Illinois Central wreck kills four in Mississippi
Jackson Miss April 18 Southbound Illinois Central limited No 2 derailed at Hanging Moss Creek four miles north of here early today. Three mail clerks and an unknown person were instantly killed while several crew members were injured. Five cars and contents burned as the wreck led to fires and narrow passenger escapes. Investigators suspect deliberate wrecking for robbery.
