Field Day Draws Big Crowd From Two Counties
Large crowd attends Star High School field day events on Friday night April 7. Officials praise conduct and site setup. Recitation contests, declamation by Albery Ross, spelling and writing contests, and athletic events highlight a program led by Misses Ainsworth, Touchstone, and County President Mr. S C Brown. Notable winners include Willie Boteler, Howard Smith, Ruth White, Mary Russell, and Earl Ross in various events.
