Rankin County board awards feed contracts, approves township loan, cancels bonds, offers road and county notes, and allocates funds for road and farm operations. Items include J L & O Buchanan feed for Beat 4 at 2.05 per sack, oats 0.67, A H Martin for Beat 1, and W G Barnes for Beat 2.
The Rankin County Bank filed its quarterly report for the first quarter of 1921. The board of supervisors partially examined balances across funds including general, maintenance, and school accounts, listing numerous payments to local firms, road maintenance allocations, bills for supplies, and various payrolls and service charges. The record names multiple individuals and firms such as Brandon Electric Co, Gulf Refining Co, and Brandon News, detailing expenses and reimbursements.
A list of payments and allowances from township funds includes salaries for a deputy chancery clerk, ferryman, attorney, and various lumber and mdse expenses. Constables and jurors in the SRS are noted, plus right of way for road work. Township trustee R L Walsh appointed, with further school and sundry MDSE allowances for Leesburg Goshen Springs Eureka Rehoboth. Fifty road bonds of 500 each in supervisor's district No. 2 sold at par to S W Tinnin. board adjourned.
