Junction dispute between railways heard in Mississippi court
The Jackson & Railroad and Alabama & Vicksburg Railway dispute over a junction near Curran's crossing in Pearl River swamp was heard by Chancellor Tawn in Meridian last Saturday and the injunction dissolved. The case is on appeal to the Supreme Court as both sides debate the best junction site while North Rankin residents push for rail access.
