Proceedings of Rankin County Board of Supervisors April meeting
The board awarded feed contracts for Beat Nos. 1 through 5 to Taylor Wills Grocery Co., R R Busick, R C Latham, J L & O Buchanan, and W B Lowell with varied prices. A binding contract for record book bindings was given to Spooner & Elaw at 7.50 per book. The stock law petition by F S Johnson to annex land to J H Whitfield district was granted. Chancery clerk’s school distribution apportionments gave Pelahatchie Separate School $187.76 and Fannin Separate School $110.80, to be paid from county funds. Committee reported a public road route change can be granted when opened by Pelahatchie Good Roads District. Appraisers evaluated C C Robinson property for township loan. loan to be granted with abstract title approved. Bids for Pelahatchie Election Precinct Road District mules and wagons were accepted.
