Post Office Relocated Quietly to New Front Street Block
Residents found the post office moved overnight from its longtime site to the Shipp Atherton block on Front Street next to Hoffman's bazaar. The change, done under orders from headquarters without public notice, sparked mixed reactions among neighbors. The Dispatch notes the new location removes the crowd from the old entrance but questions potential impacts from a nearby saloon.
