The Brainerd board of education plans to submit a bond issue at the upcoming elections to fund new school houses after ward meetings gauge public support. Current facilities are crowded. 1,076 pupils fill 21 rooms, with four crowded rooms outside the main buildings, risking health and growth potential.
The district convention of the People's Party in this senatorial district met at Little Falls last Tuesday and placed in nomination Peter Walters of Crow Wing F X Lafond of Morrison C F Bohall of Todd and Thos P Kerr of Mille Lacs county.
