New Hampshire Priest Killed by Cable Car in New York
Rev. Father John E. Barry, 65, vicar general of the Manchester Concord diocese and pastor of St. John’s in Concord, was fatally struck by a cable car on Broadway near the Astor House. He was leading companions Rev. E. M. Callahan, Rev. G. W. Murphy, and Rev. W. J. O’Reilly when the accident occurred. The conductor and motorman were arrested as the body was dragged under wheels and traffic halted.

White Returns to Grand Rapids amid Goondus Speculation
